Refuse Disposal Sites

The Norseman Refuse Disposal Site is situated 4km south of the town on Dennison Drive.

Opening hours are;

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

Saturday - Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm

Public Holidays 9:00am - 4:00pm

CLOSED Good Friday & Christmas Day

The Eucla Refuse Disposal Site is situated 4km north of the town on Commonwealth Road.

Refuse Collection

Council provides a weekly collection service for domestic rubbish in Norseman only. Collection is on Mondays, or Tuesdays following a public holiday.

Commercial rubbish is picked up twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

Bins must be placed on the street verge, 1.2m from the road and must be out by 6:00am.

Cash For Containers

The Western Australian Local Government Association is currently advocating for a Cash for Containers Scheme for Western Australia.

WALGA has developed a Cash for Containers website as a central point of information and to promote online actions.
