Youth Services

The Norseman Youth Centre is open to all youth aged 12 - 18 and operates under a "No School = No Youth Centre" policy. The Youth Centre opening hours are as follows;

DURING SCHOOL TERMS;

Tuesday - Friday 2pm - 6pm

Saturday 9am - 6pm

SCHOOL HOLIDAY HOURS;

Tuesday to Friday 9am - 6pm

Saturday 9am - 6pm

The Youth Centre is situated at 76 Roberts Street Norseman (next to the Skatepark & Swimming Pool)

Kids Helpline is Australia free ( even from a mobile) confidential 24/7 online and phone counselling services for children and young people - aged 5-25. 

Telethon Kids Institute

The Telethon Kids Institute is based within the Perth Children’s Hospital, and is one of the largest, and most successful medical research institutes in Australia. Experts conduct research on a number of issues important o Australia's children and young people. 

Commissioner for Children and Young People WA  

The Commissioner is the independent person who works closely with children and young people, their families, community and government to make WA a better place for 0 to 17 year-olds. She is a strong advocate for the rights of children and young people. The CCYPWA website officers great information for families, children and young people.
