The Shire of Dundas is seeking a Waste Facility Attendant to provide support in the operation of the Norseman Waste Facility. 

Working under limited supervision, either individually or in a team environment, some of the responsibilities of the position are: opening or closing of waste facility, record waste being carted, directing vehicles to specific tip locations, litter pick of windblown litter, responsible for materials, tools, and equipment kept on site.  Any other duties as directed by the Projects Officer in relation to the Shires area of operation. 

Remuneration is set at $19.6100 per hour plus applicable allowances and additional benefits will be in accordance with the Local Government Industry Award 2010 and Council’s Policy Manual.  This is a part-time position working a 27 hour week. Required training will be provided to the successful candidate. 

The successful applicant must be able to pass a medical, have appropriate written and verbal communications skills and be willing to attend required training and team meeting sessions.
