Telstra will be upgrading its Caiguna (Eyre Highway) mobile base station by adding additional infrastructure to bring new 4G coverage to the community, but the works will require a series of temporary outages or a reduction in mobile coverage.

Western Australia is joining with other states and territories to deliver nationally consistent emergency information through the Australian Warning System (AWS). The AWS is an easy-to-understand warning system to help you stay safe during an emergency, no matter where in the country you are. New bushfire warning colours are now on Emergency WA, and over time you'll see more changes to emergency information. Once the Shire of Dundas has received the new warning signs from DFES they will be installed by the Shire.
