Community Facilities
Swimming Pool
The Norseman Swimming Pool is open during the summer months (approximately November to March). Opening hours are from midday to 6.00pm, Tuesday to Sunday (excluding Christmas Day).
The Gym is situated on the southern boundary of Welcome Park, on Roberts Street, with access being adjacent to the public toilets.
Entry to the Gym by use of a key is permitted 24/7. Key holders are required to pay a one-off membership fee of $50:00 (GST inc). Key holders have the option to pay several months in advance if they wish and will be offered a discount if paying for multiple months at once. Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you wish to terminate your membership early, you forfeit any membership not used up, until the expiry of your access key.
Only persons 16 years of age or over will be authorised by Council to have access to the gym. Users should report any equipment that needs repair or maintenance.
Community Bus
A Community bus is available for hire from the Shire of Dundas. For applicable fees and conditions of use & to request a booking form, please contact the administration office.
Youth Centre
The Norseman Youth Centre is open to all youth aged 12 - 17 and operates under a "No School = No Youth Centre" policy.
The Youth Centre opening hours are as follows;
During School Terms;
Tuesday to Friday 3pm-6pm
Saturday 9am-6pm
School Holiday Hours;
Tuesday to Friday 9am -6pm
Saturday 9am-6pm

Community Resource Centre
The Norseman Community Resource Centre is open Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm and is located in the Woodlands Centre at 78 Prinsep Street. Access to services is available at a discount for members.

The Centrelink agent is open Monday - Friday 10am to 12pm. Located in the Woodlands Centre at 78 Prinsep Street.

Social Events
Town Hall
The Norseman Town Hall is located on Prinsep Street. The Hall is available for functions and can seat up to 200 people. Kitchen, crockery, tables and seating is included in the hall.
Sporting Complex
The Norseman Sporting Complex is located at the town oval on Sinclair Street. The complex is available for functions and can seat up to 100 people. A kitchen, kiosk, showers and chairs are included at the complex.
Oval & Lights
The town oval is available for use by all the townspeople and sporting groups. Access is not restricted, and for interested people night time use is available at a cost of $6.60/hour.
Basketball Courts & Lights
The basketball courts is available for use by all the townspeople and sporting groups. Access is not restricted, and for interested people night time use is available at a cost of $6.60/hour.
Tennis Courts
Tennis courts are available for use by all townspeople and sporting groups. Access is not restricted, and for interested people night time use is available at a cost of $6.60/hour.
Squash Courts
Hire of Squash Courts is available on a token system. There are two courts available at the northern end of the sporting complex. Tokens are available at the administration office
Skate Park
The Skatepark is located on Robert Street behind Marks Park and in front of the Swimming Pool. Enquiries on any of the above facilities can be directed to the Shire office by contacting (08) 9039 1205.
