Dundas Cruncher Event Notice & Road Closures
The Shire of Dundas would like to advise the community of the upcoming Dundas Cruncher and Family Fun Day to be held on Saturday, 1 November 2025.
This event will feature the Dundas Cruncher, a cycling and running event along The Heritage Trail and Neville Parade, finishing in Marks Park. Water and support stations will be positioned along the trail to assist participants, and traffic management will be in place throughout the day to ensure the safety of competitors, spectators, and residents.
Road Closures
Please be advised of the following road closures and traffic changes:
- Norseman Heritage Trail (Old Coach Road) will be closed from 12.00pm, Friday 31 October 2025, until the conclusion of the event.
The following streets will be closed on 1 November from 9:30am - 3pm.
- Ramsay Street closed from the roundabout to the intersection of Mines Road and Battery Road. Detour via Battery Road.
- Delamotte Drive closed between Hatto Way and Old Coach Road.
- Talbot Street, Aslop Street, Austin Street, and Ramsay Street closed between Neville Parade and Roberts Road.
- Road closures will also be in place at the Coolgardie–Esperance Highway entrance to the Old Dundas Townsite, Old Telegraph Road, and the Brockway Timber Reserve entrance.
- Pantoro Mining will be assisting with traffic management at the Okay Access Road / Old Coach Road intersection.
What We Need From You
During this time, residents are asked to:
- Be aware that there may be increased noise and activity in the area due to the event.
- Exercise extra caution around competitors both on and off the course.
- Ensure that any pets and children in this vicinity are kept safely secured and supervised to prevent any accidents.
- Residents along Roberts Street between Norseman Town Centre and Crampton Street who have dogs are asked to please contact the Shire of Dundas on 9039 1205 by Monday 27 October to assist with planning and safety management.
