Shire of Dundas Wishes Norseman Men's Shed Well in Their Move to a New Facility
Earlier in the year the Men’s Shed advised the Shire of their intention to move to larger premises in order to expand their activities. Last week the Shire farewelled the Men’s Shed from their long-term home at 104 Prinsep St and assisted the members with their move, supplying machinery and man-power.
The Shire of Dundas is proud to have supported the Men's Shed in a Council facility with a kitchen fit out and disabled access.
The new premises will require preparation of some earthworks for their Containers for Change (C4C) operation, so for the time being, the C4C will remain where it has always been and business as usual!
We will continue to foster strong partnerships with local volunteer organisations that make our community stronger, healthier, and more connected.
We have interested groups looking to sign a lease to use the building.
